(WTNH)–A New Haven police detective is helping empower young girls and women. In Bridget Brosnahan’s line of work, she sees a lot of females who are not empowered. So, she decided to do something about it.
Brosnahan has launched the Girl Power Apparel Company. It’s a line of clothing that will hopefully get the message across to those who wear it, that indeed the lives of every female are important. She said she was inspired to create it by her experiences as a police detective.
