(WTNH)–A new local radio station is being built in Bristol that will serve the community there. “The Beat,” Bristol’s rock mix station is streaming live online 24-7, and an app for the station is now in the testing phase. This is the brainchild of Steve Gagne, who’s a hometown boy and a U.S. marine who served our country until 1994.
Gagne says he paid for the equipment out of pocket, saving his money and investing it into his radio station.
Soon you will hear news, sports, and talk radio on Bristolbeat.com. Gagne is looking to hire DJ’s, salespeople and you name it, to make his hometown radio station thrive.
The station is located in downtown Bristol, across the street from city hall.
