(WTNH)–On this edition of “Nyberg,” some are sparking new opportunities in New London by puttying innovators and entrepreneurs under one roof. A collaborative effort of working members in what were two vacant buildings called “Spark Makerspace” is building a community of folks in southeastern Connecticut who can make, create, and teach to help jolt the economy down the line.
Things that are created will be sold in their storefront.
“The idea of ‘Makerspace’ is what really made sense to me as the thing that would galvanize all of the potential in New London, and really help it spark,” said Hannah Gant.
