(WTNH) — Need a meal fast, but you don’t feel like leaving the house, your hotel, college room or office? Are you having a seminar where food is needed? Ten years ago a company called Waiter-Wheels was founded in Hartford in 2006 and just like its name, your “waiter” on wheels comes to you with your order.
Two years back, they expanded to New Haven. Now, 75-Connecticut restaurants strong, and 25 drivers, they plan to head next to Stamford.
“We take in all the orders either online on our website or over the phone, we have about four dispatchers that take orders and after that they dispatch the drivers out and they pick up the food from one of our 75 restaurants in the state of Connecticut and growing,” said Waiter Wheels Co-Founder Chris Aparicio.
“We want to make sure that people understand that these great restaurants that we have are there for delivery, not all of them offer delivery and you wouldn’t expect them to, so it’s kind of unique that we can do that and provide that service for them,” said Waiter Wheels Co-Owner Dermot Woods.
They say they pride themselves in customer service. To check them out, click here.
